a glimpse towards Sunday 4.22.16

Sometimes you just have to celebrate. The endurance of anything for 30 years deserves a little party.

Ecclesiastes 3:4 says, “(There is) A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance.”

On Sunday, it’s time to celebrate 30 Years of Grace at Cumberland Community Church.

We’ve taken a healthy look back at the rich heritage of CCC. We’ve considered the rich banquet table God has currently set for Cumberland. Our present then points us, with great anticipation, to the future where deeper community, sticky faith with our kids, more restoration ministry, all things the Braves, Kenya, Greece, and more await.

Sometimes you just gotta stop and celebrate. It’s time.

This Sunday will be the final culmination Sunday of our 4-week, “30 Years of Grace” series. Guest speaker and former CCC staffer, Chad Hovind, will be leading our celebration. Chad is the current Lead Pastor at Horizon Community Church in Cincinnati, Ohio. Horizon is a gathering of over 1,600 folks. Chad is a self proclaimed Christian “edutainer” and author of two books, three kids, and one wife, Beth.

We will also have former (“old”) CCCers on stage leading drama and worship alongside current Cumberland artists. Sometimes you just gotta stop and celebrate.

It’ll be a great Sunday to celebrate. Only God’s grace allows such a rich time.

See you there!
Blessings,
