EXPLORE Preschool Ministry (Newborn - PreK)

In the preschool years, a child will form their first impression of their Heavenly Father.

At Cumberland, the preschool ministry is laying a critical foundation for faith in the life of a child in an environment where they get to experience the love of God through the care of our amazing team of trained volunteers. Every lesson and activity reinforces three basic truths:

  • God made me
  • God loves me
  • Jesus wants to be my friend forever.

Explore Preschool programming is available Sundays during all 3 services - 8:00, 10:00, & 12:00.

Keep up by signing up for the weekly Explore newsletter below. For more info or to get involved, contact Nikky Cotton.

DISCOVER Kids Ministry (K-5th Grade)

In the elementary years, a child will grow in wisdom, faith, and friendship.

Kids Ministry provides an opportunity for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade to build community, learn about the character of God, and discover what it means to put their trust in Jesus. We accomplish this through compelling large-group teaching and small group reinforcement. During their time in NextGen, kids will know that:

  • I can trust God no matter what.
  • I need to make the wise choice.
  • I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

Discover Kids programming is available on Sundays during all 3 Services - 8:00, 10:00, & 12:00.

ENCOUNTER Middle School Ministry (6th-8th Grade)

At Encounter, we are making it simple for middle school students to connect to God and each other by following our 3 core values:

  • Believe the gospel of Jesus Christ.
  • You Belong!
  • We are all on a journey of Becoming more like Him.

We are messy broken students chasing after a holy and perfect God.

ENCOUNTER gathers Sunday mornings at 10:00 AM.

Middle School Students are encouraged to attend our 10:00 AM Encounter service in The Basement, and then serve during one of the ones they don't attend!

For more information or to get involved, contact Gay Tucciarone.

Elevate white

ELEVATE High School Ministry (9th-12th Grade)

The vision of Elevate is to raise the standard of the spiritual life for each of our high school students.

  • We will be DEVOTED to God through obedience.
  • We will LOVE every person wholly.
  • We will CRAVE Godliness.
  • We will do what’s RIGHT, not what’s popular.
  • We will SPEAK up and LIVE out our faith.

ELEVATE meets Sunday evenings at 5:00 PM

High School Students are encouraged to attend and serve during our regular Sunday morning worship services, and then come back for our Elevate Sunday night gathering in The Living Room!

For more information or to get involved, contact Daniel Findlay.
