Whether you're joining us in person or online, our desire is that you encounter God each Sunday during our services! We aim to do 4 things on a Sunday:

30+ Years in the Making
This 2017 documentary gives a glimpse into the formation and foundation of Cumberland Community Church. Since the documentary was made, we have moved locations and transitioned to a new Lead Pastor. But the heart of Cumberland remains the same - to love and serve our community in Smyrna and beyond, pointing people to Jesus every step of the way.
Some of our Ministries
NextGen
Our primary goal in Cumberland Next Gen is to partner with parents and guardians to make disciples of our young people. We extend love and care, cultivate relationships, share the Good News of Christ, and walk with kids and teenagers through their faith journey as they discover who God is and who He has created them to be.
Community Groups
Groups exist for one simple reason - we need each other! God has determined that we should live in community, enjoying His love as a shared experience. We invite you to find a place at our family dinner table, by pulling up a chair in a Community Group.
Local & Global Missions
We want to be a church that serves and makes a real difference in the world. We are completely unsatisfied with the status quo of simply GOING to church, and we are intent on BEING the Church. Jesus taught that his church should serve as the light of the world, which means that we must be willing to take our light wherever there is darkness.
Cumberland Counseling
Cumberland Counseling Centers provide clinical mental health counseling as well as education and trainings to community groups, churches, and businesses. As licensed professionals, we are committed to the highest standards of therapeutic practice and adhere to state ethical codes. Our counselors will draw upon their clinical training and formal education to address each unique need.
Worship
We aim to put Jesus in the center of the room. Musically, one of our passions is being a multiethnic church, so we incorporate a blend of styles and genres including rock, gospel, soul, and indie. A Sunday morning playlist may include original music, well-known songs, and a variety of hymns, all with the goal of Gospel-focused lyrics and stylistic inclusion of our community.
Growth Classes
One of Cumberland's core values is to feed them the word of God. Growth Classes are your next step in discipleship and learning more about God's living and active word. Designed to study a particular topic or topic, we offer short-term and long-term classes to help you grow in your understanding of God and his character.
