CCC Year End Giving

year-end-giving

Dear CCC Friends,

Thanks to you, the Gospel continues to pour out from our church. Thanks to your generosity, many messy people are being redeemed and restored.

Jason came to us from California. Because of his own horrific meth addiction, Jason has been estranged from his wife and two kids. However, Jason is now 90 days clean. He is signed up for our Construction Ready class in February. Jason is interning at The Collective’s Independent Work Program. He just got his Georgia driver’s license, and has completed parenting classes. Pastor Rob is personally discipling Jason.

Jason’s story is but one of so many. Forty-seven students received their GEDs and 84 unemployed folks got solid jobs through our Construction Ready jobs program. Our success rate currently stands at 98% thanks to you!

Your physical, prayerful, and financial support has helped one family deal with the darkness of their husband’s/father’s suicide. Our strong student and counseling ministries have been a much-needed lifeline to this family.

You have helped CCC become a light on a hill. Our serving DNA is so strong that Mayor Bacon knew the exact place Cumberland is needed most in our city; South Cobb Drive.

There are layers and layers of ongoing stories from the 300+ kids at VBX. Hundreds of kids from our community keep grades high through our Echo ministries. We also have multiple families who have adopted and/or are fostering young children. CCC has many such families we are encouraging and supporting. These are Gospel stories you are helping perpetuate through your financial support.

Taking the Gospel into Turkana, Kenya to people who had literally never heard the name of Jesus was made possible by your financial support. 70 Kenyans came into the Kingdom and were baptized! With a government partnership, we built a school and latrines in Turkana. At the Beat The Drum orphanage, we built a much-needed dining hall. You can give additional support to our global efforts by clicking here and giving through our spendless2givemore website. Last year our SL2GM efforts netted $13,739.00. We provided 124 chickens, 21 goats, 26 school tuitions, 13 school uniforms, 56 bags of maize, 19 bags of cornmeal, 39 containers of baby formula, 19 bags of sorghum, 32 child sponsorships, 18 teacher’s salaries, 12 sewing machines, and 17 men received carpentry equipment. This year our SL2GM giving is down; we’ve collected $2,575.

Your selfless support helps us create strong partnerships with domestic groups like CRU, North Georgia Christian Camp, and ONE Church in Jackson, MS.

Locally, Jim came to Jesus and was baptized during our Jonah series. His transformational story was just one of our great 180 videos this year.

Monica and her non-believing boyfriend came to Cumberland recently. Monica connected with Susan Humbert, our Life Groups Director. After our Christmas Eve services, Monica’s boyfriend wants to talk with Susan about Jesus and baptism. Wow! Your support helps us create transformational events like our most excellent Christmas Eve services and The Blend.

We simply can’t do these things without you. Would you consider a year end gift to keep our finances and ministry strong as we head into 2017? Your support will make a real, lasting impact in the lives of those who are still in need.
Please, click here to make your donation now. The lives of hundreds of others are at stake. You can also mail your donations to the church office and receive 2016 tax credit if postmarked before Dec. 31st.

Thank you for your continued prayers, support, and friendship.
With much gratitude,
