COMBINED SERVICES THIS SUNDAY WITH SMYRNA FIRST BAPTIST
We have a tremendous Kingdom opportunity this coming Sunday (Feb. 16th), and all you have to do is show up. By showing up at our combined CCC and Smyrna First Baptist church services this Sunday, you’ll be able to:
- show visible evidence of the glory of Jesus through His Church.
- be a part of Kingdom unity Jesus died to create.
- meet other believers who want to change Smyrna too.
- give your/our kids a glimpse into a bigger Kingdom.
- impact a skeptical, watching world.
- do something you probably never did growing up.
- teach something a lost world needs taught.
- experience a less sectarian worship to elevate Jesus more.
- partner in worship with another church before we partner in F.I.A. work.
- make this pastor’s joy complete by continuing to push beyond our walls.
I know this is messy. I know it may not be the most comfortable, or even what you will like the most. But as Joe Braun recently said, “We will remain in our comfort until we are moved by the gospel.
I hope you’re planning on being a vital part of our combined Sunday with Smyrna First Baptist EXACTLY BECAUSE you are moved by the gospel. The EPIC gospel.
The services will be AT Smyrna First Baptist church. They will start at 9:30 & 11 a.m. Both services will have full kid’s ministry programming. Our kid’s volunteers will be in the classes to provide familiar faces for our kids. Our music teams are combining with SFB’s artists. The message will be split into two, equal, 15-minute parts between CCC and SFB.
Please come early to help with parking and kid check in.
We’ll still take up our tithes with joy boxes (SFB will pass their plates).
The 9:30 service will be a bit more traditional than the 11 a.m.
