All Things New

Inspired by Revelation 21:5, this campaign reflects how God is making all things new—in our lives, in our church, in our community, and in the world.

We are trusting God to provide $4 million to fully fund the priorities of this campaign. The campaign is expected to run over a 2-year span.

The "All Things New" campaign has three main priorities:

1. Campus renovation (highest priority): We will complete the renovation of Building 100 with critical infrastructure updates and space reconfiguration to accommodate our current and future needs. The remaining renovation costs are estimated at approximately $6.2 million.
2. With Our Neighbors (WON) hard launch: Support the official startup of our local nonprofit to serve the South Cobb community directly. 
3. Global missions: Continue our support of international ministry partners in Kenya, Ecuador, Greece, and India.

We've already invested over $2.5 million in completed campus projects, and additional funding is needed to finish the work and ensure our facilities can safely and comfortably support our growing ministry.

Our current building was never meant to be permanent, and we’ve outgrown it - especially in our NextGen ministry areas. Our future sanctuary can’t be used in its current condition. We need to replace outdated plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and fire systems. This is not a cosmetic update, it’s a critical need.

The Lord has been gracious to us, and we are grateful to report we are currently debt-free. However, our attendance growth is outpacing our giving rate.

Our financing strategy combines multiple sources to reach the total project cost:

1. Campaign pledges and gifts: $4 million from the "All Things New" campaign
2. One-time major gifts: $350k-500k in firm upfront commitments
3. Construction loan/mortgage: The remaining balance will be funded through long-term financing that we can manage within our capacity. 

The more pledges we receive, the lower our loan amount will be. We will not move forward with construction without securing at least $2.5 million in pledges, ensuring we maintain financial responsibility while trusting God's provision for this project.

This approach allows us to begin the critical renovation work while ensuring we only take on debt we can responsibly manage long-term.

Your regular tithes and offerings support our day-to-day operations including personnel expenses, utilities, ministry programming, facility maintenance, missionary support, community outreach, and ongoing church activities. About 95% of our income comes from individual giving, with the remaining 5% from other revenue sources (interest income, venue/campus rental, etc). The "All Things New" campaign is specifically for gifts above and beyond your regular giving to fund these special projects.

"All Things New" gifts will be allocated across three areas: campus renovation (the priority), With Our Neighbors nonprofit launch, and global missions support.

The campaign is designed to fund everything beyond our regular operational needs, ensuring that your above-and-beyond giving directly impacts life transformation in our church, community, and around the world.

Absolutely! Every gift matters, regardless of size. We believe that when everyone contributes according to their ability, God multiplies our collective efforts. Small gifts add up to make a significant impact, and your participation demonstrates faith, unity, and shared commitment to our vision. This campaign is about the entire church family coming together, and every seed matters.

The renovated campus will provide updated and accessible facilities that can better serve our community through events, programs, and partnerships. Additionally, the campaign will fund the external launch of "With Our Neighbors" (WON), our dedicated nonprofit focused on directly serving South Cobb residents with practical needs and community support.

The campaign will continue to support our current global missions efforts. Last year we raised over $75,000 for ministry partners in Greece, Kenya, Ecuador, and India on top of the financial support that’s built into our annual budget. "All Things New" ensures ongoing support for these ministries while potentially adding new partnerships.

All funds will be managed with complete transparency and financial accountability. Our church maintains strong financial stewardship with over nine months of operating reserves, zero debt, and established financial oversight through our executive director, finance committee, and elder board. Regular financial updates will be provided throughout the campaign.

Our financial advisers provide insight and recommendations based on our operating income and expenses.

The elder board provides oversight and approval for all major financial decisions related to the campaign.

All expenditures align with the stated campaign priorities and are subject to established church governance and financial accountability processes.

We'll provide regular updates through multiple channels including monthly "All Things New" segments during services, email updates, progress tracking on our campaign website, and quarterly detailed reports. You'll see exactly how gifts are being used and the impact being made.

If we are blessed beyond our $4 million goal, additional funds would allow us to accelerate project timelines, complete more aspects of the campus master plan, reduce the need for a construction loan or mortgage, and potentially expand our local and global ministry impact.

We'll prioritize the most critical needs first, starting with essential infrastructure updates for safety and functionality. The campaign can extend beyond the initial timeline if needed, and we may explore phased completion of projects.

We are fully dependent on the Lord’s guidance, provision, and timing. We are trusting in Him and we're committed to faithful stewardship regardless of the final amount raised.
