Global Mission week at Cumberland has begun. What a joy and a challenge. We have the privileged of having Dr. Hong Yang and his wife Ester who have ministered in communist China for many years and seen the hand of God miraculously move in the way of miracles to see many turn to Jesus. Melanie Hutchison from India is with us who serves the most broken of women in helping them regain their dignity and personhood through job skills training and the gospel. Our long time friend Bishop David Thagana of Kenya joins us to build our wonderful partnership with Glory Outreach Assemblies. GOA is our gateway to reaching the unreached people of Kenya and the widows and orphans as well as establishing a church in Mathare Valley Slum.

Each of these individuals is a hero of the faith and we are privileged to have them with us. Please join us on Sunday and bring a friend to hear Dr. Hong Yang share his experiences and as he opens the word of God to challenge and inspire us in the work of missions.

Plan on staying for a lunch after the second service to hear Dr. Yang and Bishop Thagana’s testimonies and ask them questions.

Field Trip to Operation Mobilization: SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 20
Middle School, High School and College age students are encouraged to take this field trip to OM in Tyrone, GA to get information, have fun, and take a tour of the facility. This will be incredible…don’t miss it! Students can go with or without parents.

Parent & Youth Mission Dinner: SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 20
Students and Parents will hear firsthand accounts of life on the mission field from a panel of Cumberland Missionaries and GO Team members.
Time: 5:00pm at Cumberland
